Morgan Community College Coordinator of Regional Center - Burlington in Burlington, Colorado

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. A combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree may substitute. Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office. Ability to travel to area high schools, Ft. Morgan, and other regional centers. Ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours as necessitated by special projects, compliance with deadlines, committee service, and registration periods. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Work experience in higher education. Knowledge of technology/equipment utilized for distance delivery of instruction. Anticipated Start Date: November 2022

Salary and Benefits:

$ 45700-52555 per year based on education, skills and experience. Benefits include health, life, dental insurance, LTD & benefit package in accordance with Colorado Community College and Occupational Education System policies. No relocation assistance is provided.

This position is for the Burlington service areas, requiring regular travel.

EMPLOYMENT SPECIFICS:

Full-Time (Exempt Professional/Technical, 260 days), 1.0FTE

PURPOSE/SUMMARY OF JOB:

This position is responsible for assisting with the delivery of credit and non-credit programs to residents of the communities served by the Regional Center. The position has responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Center under the direction of the Director. This includes assisting with recruiting, testing, advising, and registering students. The position shall serve as a liaison with the Fort Morgan Campus, providing students with information on procedures regarding financial aid and billing. Coordinates purchase of supplies and materials for office and instructional courses. Coordinates course delivery needs with college technology and other agency staff. Along with the Director, maintains working relationships with schools, agencies and institutions within the regional area. Travels to area high schools to support proctoring, testing, advising and registration as needed. May supervise hourly staff or work study students. Work hours include daytime hours as the primary schedule, with the need to flex schedule to evenings and very rarely weekends on occasion.
