Cabot Creamery is seeking candidates for a full time Master or Journeyman Electrician to join our Maintenance Department at our Manufacturing facility located in Cabot, VT on the day/evening shift. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairs to dairy processing equipment, as well as the installation of new electrical, building and equipment projects, as well as preventative maintenance to ensure there are minimal disruptions to production.
Please have excellent troubleshooting abilities, an ability to make repairs in a safe, timely and accurate manner, to work independently as well as in a team, multi-task, have strong attention to detail, and good communication & computer skills are essential.
This position requires a High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience as an electrician working in an industrial environment, preferably in the food industry. Experience working with plant electrical systems preferred, and extensive technical knowledge of safe electrical practices. VT Master or Journeyman Electrician licensure required, and flexibility to work weekends and holiday rotations.
