Pay: 21-24 per hour

Our client is a major manufacturer and distributor of tissue paper, toilet paper, and paper towels. We are searching for a smart and diligent Machine Operator to join our clients main operation in Van Nuys, CA.
Hours: This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. This is a Graveyard shift position, from 5 pm at night to 5 am the following morning. You will be working Monday to Friday, so overtime is mandatory for this role.
This is a traditional machine operator role in which you will be operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting the tissue conversion machines, which include the Rewinder, the Folding Machine, the Embossing Machine, The Fabric Cutter, and the Packing Machine.
You will also:
Monitor the production lines to make sure everything is done as efficiently as possible
Perform routine maintenance and clean the equipment
Work with the team members to meet production targets
Keep production records, and report any technical errors to management
Follow up to ensure orders get completed on time
Other duties as needed
This is what we are looking for in your candidacy:
You have at least 2 years of Machine Operator experience in a Manufacturing Setting
Preferably, you have experience with paper-converting machines
You know how to read technical manuals and schematics/blueprints
You have a strong mechanical aptitude and can learn quickly when needed
You can work in a fast-paced work environment
You can lift up to 50lbs for extended periods if needed
