Industry Leading Manufacturing Company Hiring a Coating Operator
Located in West Caldwell, NJ
Pay: $27-$30 an hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Coating Operator with a deep understanding of knife over roll, reverse roll, gravure roll, and strip coating processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accurately calculating and maintaining coat weights through gap adjustments and speed ratios. Additionally, the role requires expertise in the disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of solution supply components, as well as performing machine setups, troubleshooting, and correcting machine functions and tension settings during the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
Accurately calculate and maintain coat weights through gap adjustments and speed ratios.
Proficiently disassemble, clean, and assemble solution supply components.
Perform machine setups, troubleshoot, and correct machine functions and tension settings during the manufacturing process.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
Retrieve and return adhesives and coating solutions (drums, totes, and vessels) from warehouse and Mass Prep areas utilizing a pallet jack.
Essential Skills
Deep understanding of knife over roll, reverse roll, gravure roll, and strip coating processes.
Strong understanding of cGMPs and SOPs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong math, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $62400.00/yr.
