Broadstreet Properties LTD Planning Analyst - Residential Facilities Management in Campbell River, British Columbia

The Planning and Strategic Initiatives Analyst is responsible for assisting in the identification, analysis and development and implementation planning of proposals, programs, projects and grants that support initiatives that are aligned with the organization’s vision and long-term goals. This position is responsible for undertaking qualitative and quantitative research that supports the department's programs while continually seeking new opportunities. The role will also support on-going reporting for all existing programs and initiatives.

Your contributions to the team include:

  • Facilitate the research, gathering of data and analysis for various projects and initiatives

  • Facilitate and support the creation of business cases for new products and programs 

  • Support the ongoing preparation of project and initiatives reporting

  • Facilitate project estimation and bidding with third party vendors

  • Facilitate the creation and review of contract documentation

  • Understand project requirements from internal and external parties

  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and partners including across multiple government levels.

  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to key stakeholders

  • Organize, compile and submit grant applications and reporting to various levels of municipal, provincial and federal governments

What you need to be successful:

  • Equivalent of 2 years’ experience in an Analyst role

  • Education in Business, Social Sciences or related field preferred

  • Understanding of construction and building systems

  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team

  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

  • Effective communication skills including verbal and written skills

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
