What is the job about?

As a Senior Key Account Manager, your primary task will be to build and develop partnerships with a defined portfolio of strategic accounts in the Hospitality field. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting a select product or application portfolio to influencers in specific sub-segments of the Commercial Building Services market. Your success within this role will depend on your ability to develop positive and mutually beneficial relationships with relevant stakeholders, in order to influence sales and grow the Share of Wallet across multiple industries.

This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and will operate daily out of the Cancún, MX facility. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Build and develop the commercial strategy for the Hospitality Sector.

  • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with defined key stakeholders

  • Monitor and assess competitor activities and market trends

  • Broaden and deepen communication beyond sales and sales support with key stakeholders

  • Develop and implement specific solutions to influence Grundfos’ business in the sub-segment

  • Conduct strategic key account planning to strengthen relationships, grow sales, and increase market share

  • Engage in contract negotiations to establish framework agreements and strengthen partnerships

  • Analyze key account data to track customer relationships

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends by participating in training, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks

  • Adhere to professional sales practices, including Facetime, Pipeline Management, and CRM usage

  • Promote Grundfos values, principles, and 2025 strategy

  • Participate in medium- and long-term projects with strategic clients and their main specifiers

  • Provide training and seminars for consultants and potential clients

  • Collaborate with the commercial team to monitor project progress.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • Degree and 5+ years working experience

  • Experience developing processes within Commercial Buildings segment

  • Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, installers, and end users

  • Solid knowledge of plans, process, and activities in Commercial Buildings segment

  • Great ability of influence others

  • Significant technical knowledge of products, systems, and local regulation

  • Will be required to travel up to 50% if necessary. Thus, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification
