City Of Canon City Library Assistant in Canon City, Colorado
The Library Assistant performs a variety of basic support duties for the Ca on City Public Library, including assisting patrons find materials, checking materials in/out, and assisting in the processing and cleaning of materials, shelving and book/materials collection maintenance and keeps collections organized and in proper order.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma, or equivalent Experience in a customer service setting. Experience with filing materials with numerical or alphabetical identifiers. Experience with cash handling and POS software Have a valid Colorado Driver's License, or the ability to obtain one within sixty (60) days of employment with a driving record acceptable to the City of Ca on City.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.
