Robert Half Accountant - Entry Level in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry. The position is based in CANONSBURG, Pennsylvania, United States. The workplace requires onsite presence. The role involves executing entry-level accounting functions and handling accounts payable tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage purchase orders and accounts payable.
• Utilize Microsoft Business Central software for various accounting tasks.
• Assist in setting up forms to gather input.
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to invoices and purchase orders.
• Ensure accurate and efficient scanning and reading of PDF invoices.
• Maintain regular workplace attendance from 8 am to 5 pm, five days a week.
• Exercise minimal phone use during work hours.
• Apply essential accounting skills to perform job duties efficiently. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
• Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies
• Willingness to continuously learn and grow in the field of accounting
• Prior experience in Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry would be an added advantage, but not mandatory.
