Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This is a 1st shift position (7am-3pm) located in Canton, OH, with a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will operate, set up, and program CNC machines with live tooling to manufacture components. This role involves running 5-axis mills and various machines, including Doosans, Pumas, and Prototraks. You will machine various metals such as copper, brass, and stainless steel, utilize conversational programming, and use G&M code with MasterCam software. The ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools to ensure parts are within tolerance is essential.
Responsibilities
Operate, set up, and program CNC machines with live tooling to manufacture components.
Help grow the CNC manufacturing department.
Run 5-axis mills and various machines, including Doosans, Pumas, and Prototraks.
Machine various metals such as copper, brass, and stainless steel.
Utilize conversational programming and G&M code with MasterCam software.
Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to check parts for tolerance.
Essential Skills
4+ years of CNC machining experience in manufacturing, preferably with vertical machining centers, mills, and lathes.
Experience with 5-axis machines; experience with Doosan/Puma is a plus.
Proficiency in machine setups, programming, edits, changeovers, and tooling.
Ability to read blueprints.
Experience in precision measuring using calipers and micrometers.
Proficiency in G&M code and conversational programming.

Work Environment
Our facility offers a great work environment that is climate-controlled, clean, and very safe. It is a quiet and productive space with a family feel among our 24 employees. We have just purchased two brand-new machines, a mill and a lathe, and are looking for someone to run them both. This is a 1st shift position with flexible start times between 5am-7am until 3pm, with 5-10 hours of overtime and only 3-5 Saturdays per year.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
