GAI Consultants, Inc. Roadway CAD Designer (Senior Project Engineer 2) in Canton, Ohio

Description GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Roadway Design) to work within our Ohio Transportation Business Unit. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, varied, and team-oriented environment that will use their related experience to develop professionally and grow in today's global environment. Remote and/or Hybrid work options (home or office) are also viable options, and the successful candidate will be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Job Duties: Roadway design for ODOT and Local Public Agency (LPA) clients Creates and reviews project design calculations, quantity takeoffs, specifications, plans, and contract documents Works within the Transportation Team assigning responsibilities Works within project schedules and budgets Applies ODOT design manual and AASHTO principles to highway design Utilizes roadway design CADD software May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. Occasional travel to client meetings and site visits with possible overnight stays (up to 10% of the time). Why GAI?
