Salary Range : $102,600 - $154,000 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.

Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company is seeking a Manager, Account Management to build, train, develop, and motivate a team of Account Management professionals. This person will be responsible for the team who will create and maintain long-term, trusting, customer relationships with Optavise clients. The Manager is responsible for seeing that each teammate is successful in achieving their objectives and is building towards the next step in their career.

As a Manager, Account Management, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage Optavise Account Management Associate resources to ensure that they are successfully delivering on their role's responsibilities.

  • Ensure Client retention and renewals meet Optavise goals.

  • Identify clients who are believed to be "at-risk", inform other appropriate resources within Optavise, and work to put a remediation plan in place immediately.

  • Ensure Client utilization of Optavise Advocacy & Transparency services meet Optavise goals.

  • Support achievement of PPI target goals with Optavise clients.

  • Involve appropriate Optavise Sales, SME, Implementation, or Delivery resources in relevant meetings and communications.

  • Involve the Client’s Broker/Consultant in relevant meetings and communications.

  • Track to ensure that the client’s key objectives are being met.

  • Scope, draft and facilitate completion of contractual documents necessary to expedite booking orders, billing, implementation and renewal of products and services.

  • Ensure that Salesforce is a sole source of truth for Sales data.

The Manager, Account Management position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Utilize strong knowledge of the healthcare and benefits space to provide expert advice and guidance to clients and their brokers.

  • Lead, manage, and grow an account management team to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.

  • Act as a point of escalation when issues arise with clients, promptly addressing and resolving them.

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive client success and direct team members to achieve these measures.

  • Consult with clients to understand their strategy and objectives, providing tailored solutions that align with their goals.

  • Demonstrate solid organizational skills by effectively prioritizing tasks, scheduling appointments, managing time, and meeting deadlines.

  • Communicate effectively through written and oral channels, utilizing negotiation and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.

  • Display attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset, working with a sense of urgency to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and implement solutions that address client needs and challenges.

  • Understand the strategy and objectives of Optavise and translate them into actionable activities that contribute to personal and corporate goals.

  • Successfully manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, effectively balancing competing priorities.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of directly related experience.

  • 5 years of proven client-focused experience in the benefits, brokers, benefits administration and/or health care industry.

  • 4+ years in an Account Management role in the Healthcare/Benefits industry, working with our target market.

  • Previous experience leading a team of sales professionals that support large or complex clients in the employee benefits space.
