MetLife Lead Architect in Cary, North Carolina

Duties: Create architectural specifications using Visio and Lucidchart tools to ensure feasibility, functionality and integration with existing systems/platforms. Develop current and/or target state reference architecture artifacts domain, design and translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical solution for implementation, evaluate requirements, and provide estimation (time and cost) to product owners for implementation. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and manage design activities, including providing software solutions, software designs, integration patterns, High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) requirements to develop and enhance applications. Manage the application development and provide project management with regular updates on deliverable timeline and project status.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or Computer Applications (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus ten (10) years of experience performing full-stack software engineering and architecture. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section) -- Must also possess the following: managing application development using Java 1.8, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, jQuery, HTML5, JSP and XML; providing software solutions, software designs and integration patterns on Azure cloud platform using AKS and AzDo; creating architectural specifications using Visio, Lucidchart, AppDynamics, GIT, Splunk, qTest, SonarQube, Veracode, Bit Bucket, Bamboo, UCD, SOAP UI and Eclipse; and designing applications and solutions using Unqork's no-code platform. Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 days remote.
