This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You’ll Work On
Prioritize tasks to efficiently be completed with emphasis on Safety, Quality and GMP
Ensures effective written and verbal communications. Regularly interfaces with key internal and external stakeholders to manage area of responsibility
Communicate clearly and work together in a team environment
Must be able to work with cross functional teams, self-motivated, able to problem solve
Monitoring the Production Schedule and balancing changing workload to prevent adverse production impact
Maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system including commodity lot trace, file retention, labels and ingredients for Halal, Kosher Schedule A and Kosher Schedule B compliance
Responsible for sampling and testing ingredients and packaging materials, as to comply with quality procedures and assuring specifications and quality guidelines are met
Analytical analysis of the ingredients and physical evaluation of the packaging materials as defined by testing procedures
Recognize and report method procedure problems, out of specification conditions, or other anomalies to leader
Minor trouble shooting of equipment with some assistance from supervision
Input of quality data into quality/inventory computer systems including MITS, AMAPS, and LIMS
Placing commodities on hold as necessary, maintaining a hold list and pursuing final disposition of commodities on hold through destruction, returns to vendor or release; based on justification and approval
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Shift
Sunday – 8am to 4:30pm
Monday to Thursday – 10am to 6:30pm
Friday and Saturday - Off
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)

The base pay for this position is $18.65 – $37.35 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
