Responsible for the integration, operation and maintenance of the entire Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in the plant. Work on establishing MES design principles, practices, implementations, documentation and maintenance procedures, assist with defining the objectives of MES improvements, including developing and reviewing proposals and presentations, and work closely with manufacturing, line integrators and vendors during installation/validation of MES. Ensure system uptime and backup for all MES (Hardware and Software) in the plant. Establish consistent metrics and data collection for continuous improvement, and work closely with engineering to help report issues leading project deliverables and provide status and progress reports. Responsible for project timing and goals, provide direction to resources, monitor projects, and report status of projects during regular team meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience managing engineering projects.
- Special Skills: This position also requires education or experience in: Rockwell Automation PLC Studio 5000; OPC configuration; Project Management; NI LabView; Torque Tools configuration; SAP ERP; and FMEA.
