Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machines to produce electrical connectors according to specifications. Inspect products throughout the production process to maintain high quality and consistency; identify and report any defects.
Responsibilities

Monitor machines during operation to ensure products meet specifications.
Inspect products throughout the production process to maintain high quality and consistency.
Identify and report any product defects.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, or schematics.
Perform basic mechanical tasks and utilize production tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine operation issues.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in machine operation and troubleshooting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, or schematics.
Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with production tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in machine operation, preferably in manufacturing or assembly environments.
Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Speaking Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment
Work on first shift (7am to 3:30pm). Exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery is typical in a manufacturing facility. Get cross training on all the machines at every part of the production.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centerbrook, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
