Position: Maintenance Supervisor

Shift: First Shift 6:00am to 2:30pm (plus required overtime)

Pay Rate: Hourly non-exempt.

Duties:

The purpose of this position is to support the manufacturing process and the

overall successful operations of the facility. This position will report to the Production Manager and function as the leader of the Maintenance Department. This position will be responsible, but not limited to the following tasks:

  1. Overseeing and performing necessary mechanical repairs on all manufacturing and support equipment.
  2. Overseeing and the troubleshooting and correcting of electrical malfunctions that may occur on all manufacturing or support systems equipment.
  3. Scheduling and performing needed repairs on the building, the facility, and items needed to support the manufacturing and operational process.
  4. Overseeing the installation, modification, and repairs of manufacturing equipment and support system components when necessary.
  5. Responsible for the fabrication of parts and components used in manufacturing and support system components when necessary.
  6. Attend all meetings that may be requested by members of the Management Team.
  7. Provide Powered industrial truck operations and training as needed.

Skill Requirements:

  1. 3 plus years of supervisor and mechanical experience in a manufacturing operation.
  2. Knowledge of electrical applications includes 120volt single phase, 240-volt three phase, and 480-volt three phase power sources.
  3. Ability to troubleshoot, identify, and correct electrical system malfunctions and correct the issues regarding manufacturing and support equipment.
  4. Ability to troubleshoot, identify, and correct building and mechanical malfunctions.
  5. Must be able to operate shop tools such as welders, drill press, band saws, grinders, and basic measuring tools. Proficiency in the use of milling machines, surface grinders and lathes required.
  6. Tools and equipment needed to perform the required tasks shall be provided by the company.
  7. Powered Industrial truck experience required.
