Overhead Door Corporation Assembler I - 3626 in Centralia, Washington

Qualifications

  • 1-3 months related experience
  • Able to read and understand work instructions
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 50 pounds
  • Regularly lifting up to 35 pounds

  • Operate various woodworking machines in the production of wood garage doors
    • Planer: Setting up and operating the planer to ensure proper thickness, width, and surface quality.
    • Sander: Operating industrial sanders to achieve required finish for components in door manufacturing.
    • Ripsaw: Running ripsaw to accurately size materials while maintaining efficiency.
    • Edger: Size material in preparation for further manufacturing.
  • Inventory Management: Tracking materials, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating with purchasing.
  • Collaborate with the production team, assisting as needed to maintain workflow and meet production goals.
  • Operate forklift to relocate and stage raw materials
  • Other duties as assigned
