TEKsystems Construction Technician in Chandler, Arizona
Entry-Level Cable Technician
Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain video and data cables, as well as copper and fiber cabling infrastructure in commercial settings.
Install conduit and pull cable through the conduit.
Perform maintenance on existing cabling systems.
Test newly installed or relocated cables according to company specifications.
Install televisions, routers, and internet technology devices.
Troubleshoot issues with the cable network.
Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to walk job sites in uneven terrain.
Willingness to work in extreme climates.
Comfort working at heights and from ladders.
Familiarity with telecommunications equipment.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read blueprints.
Compensation:
$20/hour
