Position available at Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc. in Charleston, WV. Provide clinical care services to patients; Participate in nephrology on-call rotations; Perform diagnoses, establishing health care plan and managing patient care; Evaluate kidneys to determine treatment; Refer to other physicians to assist with care along with vascular surgeons for dialysis access; Educate on dialysis options and recommend dialysis when needed; Treat and manage conditions such as IgA nephropathy, diabetic nephropathy, Lupus, Polycystic Kidney Disease, Proteinuria, End Stage Renal Disease and various stages of Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, chronic anemia, and Acute Renal Failure. Requirements: MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent degree. Completion of Residency in Internal Medicine. Completion of Fellowship in Nephrology. Full and unrestricted West Virginia Medical License at the time of employment.
