Job Title: Shipping Associate
Job Description
As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for accurately packing and shipping prescription orders in a timely manner. You will also stock freezers with gel packs, follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order, and perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and orderly work site and keep an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at the shipping station.
Responsibilities
Accurately pack and ship prescription orders in a timely manner.
Stock freezers with gel packs.
Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.
Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements.
Maintain a clean and orderly work site.
Keep an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at the shipping station.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year of logistics experience.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Experience with RF scanners and how they operate.
Basic math and counting skills.
Basic computer and calculator skills.
Knowledge in inventory control, forklift operation, material handling, pallet jack usage, labeling, warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving, loading, unloading, shipping & receiving, FedEx, reach truck, SAP, computer skills, WMS, logistics, and cycle counts.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and not very loud, with climate control set at 71 degrees year-round. Breaks include two 15-minute sessions and one 30-minute lunch. The pay period runs from Sunday to Saturday, and overtime on weekends is voluntary. Some tasks may require working in a cold container (refrigerator), but you can wear a jacket as long as it does not have a hood and is not oversized.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlestown, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
