Siemens Energy Supply Chain Management Strategic Project Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina
A Snapshot of Your Day
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Strategic Project Manager meets with various teams, including procurement, logistics, and production, to discuss ongoing projects and address any issues. Throughout the day, you analyze data to optimize workstream targets & guide them to further insights by collaborating and connecting dots across a large regional, global and corporate structure. This role is always working on optimal balancing of implementing strategies to enhance supply chain resilience and sustainability while operational business is running.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Review key performance metrics and identify potential bottlenecks with various SCM leaders (senior and junior buyers, commodity managers, cost value engineers, and suppliers).
Operationalize strategic supply chain initiatives with a focus on reducing the cost of goods sold while maintaining resilience and achieving high customer satisfaction metrics.
Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain resilience and sustainability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives and drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field; MBA a plus!
8+ years experience in gas, steam and generator parts purchasing, manufacturing, supplier qualification & technical resolution.
Curious Learner! Strategic approach with strong analytical and organizational skills; excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) to various teams and partners.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
