Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and instructions to fabricate parts according to specifications. You will set up CNC machines per work instructions and utilize both manual and automated equipment to safely manufacture parts. The role involves planning the sequence of necessary actions for job completion, monitoring the machine to adjust feed, maintain quality, and identify issues. You will measure and check parts for quality and correctness, select appropriate machines, position, and load materials for the job, and clean and maintain equipment and the work area. Ensuring fabrications are completed in the safest and most efficient method is crucial. You will review samples, drawings, and instructions to understand specifications and communicate any issues to the supervisor. Additionally, you will maintain and count inventory and perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints and instructions to fabricate parts per specifications.
Set up CNC machines per work instructions.
Utilize manual and automated equipment to safely manufacture parts.
Plan the sequence of necessary actions for job completion.
Monitor the machine to adjust feed, maintain quality, and identify issues.
Measure and check parts for quality and correctness.
Select appropriate machines, position, and load materials for the job.
Clean and maintain equipment and the work area.
Ensure fabrications are completed in the safest and most efficient method.
Review samples, drawings, and instructions to understand specifications.
Communicate any issues to the supervisor.
Maintain and count inventory.
Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
1+ years of experience in machine operation or as a CNC Machine Operator.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience working with machining equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Manual machining experience preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
