Position Overview

Position Overview:

Responsible for driving pole lift truck to retrieve greige good rolls from bins and transport to front end of coater,

writing tickets for roles being coated, and using computer system for finishing information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive pole lift truck to retrieve greige good rolls from bins and transport to front end of coater.

See that each roll is measured and width is recorded on sew-on report.

Uses computer system to check custom orders, topical treatments, and missing rolls.

Aids the sew-on operator in placing carpet tails on the sew table and cutting and sewing the carpet to achieve

the proper seam.

Operates J-Box in order to unroll carpet for coating.

Monitors core buggy level and exchanges buggies when necessary using pole lift truck.

Writes roll tickets and enters information into computer.

Sends tickets to clerk through chute.

Replaces rolls of secondary backing when needed.

Replace gas tanks or batteries as need

Fill out lift truck check sheets

*Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner.

*Miscellaneous duties as required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Pole lift truck licensee and experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to carry out written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving

variables in standardized situations.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
