Job Summary: Eastern Washington University is currently recruiting for a Food Services Supervisor 1. This position supervises food service employees in our Dining Services operations, special events, or catering locations. The position is responsible for food service production in a large scale production kitchen. • Duties include scheduling and managing food service staff, • Participation in all aspects of food production and service of food, • Cash handling, cleaning/sanitation, and customer service. • This position will assist in training new staff and teaching food service techniques and processes. • The selected candidate may receive off campus training to meet franchise certifications and must be able to meet all EWU franchise uniform requirements (uniforms are provided by EWU ) and personal hygiene standards. • This position will be assigned to our on-campus Panda Express store. • The salary for this position is $43,560 -- $58,044. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills. • In addition to salary, the University offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance and retirement.
