ADP HR Business Partner in Chennai, India

Role : HR Business Partner

POSITION SUMMARY:

HR Business Partner is an experienced HR professional with the previous practice from the various business areas, a detailed knowledge of the business and the ability to identify quickly gaps in the operation of the internal client, addressing them using HR tools.

Among the main responsibilities, the HR Business Partner will support the operation to find the best way how to implement policies and procedures, will be able to prioritize the impact of the solutions and quick wins, supporting the line managers on their people management role.

The HR Business Partner is expected to coach the line managers and to support managers on developing the successors and talent pipeline. It is also expected that the HR BP knows personally the High Potential associates and be able to obtain the formal and informal feedback, which can be highly significant for the managerial decisions about the people management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a Change Management agent, supporting organizational/cultural changes.

  • Critical/analytical thinking: Act as an Advisor, seeking information and using that information to inform decision and resolve problems.

  • Effective communication: Being able to verbally or in writing convey messages in terms that make sense, and also to actively listen to others' interpersonal communications.

  • HR knowledge: Understanding of tactical and strategic HR functions and processes.

  • Organizational knowledge: Understanding the business issues that are specific to the organization and having empathy for and an awareness of the impact of human capital issues on the organization as a system.

  • Persuasiveness/influencing others: The art of using interpersonal skills to convince others to share one's perspective or way of thinking.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Educational background: Any graduate

  • Experience: 6 to 9 years of professional experience in HR; Strong Experience as HR Generalist and with payroll and Operations.

  • Specific knowledge and skills: Fluent in English; Good knowledge of organizational development tools and solid experience on roll outs. Change management and implementation

  • Attitudes and behaviors: Critical/analytical thinking: Effective communication interpersonal communications; HR knowledge: Understanding of local regulations, tactical and strategic HR functions. Persuasiveness/influencing others.
