The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing large public accessible datasets, and developing software solutions to enhance data management and analysis capabilities. This role combines strong analytical skills with software development expertise to create tools and systems that help the company make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection & Management:

  • Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources, including publicly accessible web sites, databases, internal systems, and external data providers.

  • Develop and maintain data systems to populate other areas of the business.

  • Software Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software tools and applications that facilitate data collection, processing, and analysis.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for data-related software solutions.

  • Collaborate with the IT and engineering teams to integrate data analysis tools into existing systems and workflows.

  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes related to data handling and analysis.

  • Reporting:

  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvements and develop strategies to optimize data collection, storage, analysis, and software development practices.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis and software development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with additional experience in software development or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# for software development.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in statistical analysis, data visualization, and software development.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL), data warehousing, and software development methodologies.
