Cisco Software Development Engineer - Python, Networking from 3+ Years of experience- Chennai location in Chennai, India
Meet the Team:
Our team develops ground-breaking software for leading Network Operating Systems like IOS-XR, IOS-XE, and NXOS. We focus on platform-independent components such as System/Infra software, OAM, and Serviceability, collaborating closely with Platform development teams. You'll join this world-class team to work on technologies that support top web-scale customers in managing their operations. The NeXT Platform Independent Common (PI-Common) group owns the development of high-performance software across Cisco's flagship routers and switches, including Enterprise Switching & Routers, Data Center Switches, and Service Provider Routing Platforms.

As a Software Engineer with over 3- 5 years of experience, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the following areas:

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
This role requires a BSEE/CS, MS/CS, or equivalent qualification
Demonstrated experience in internetworking technologies and applications with strong problem-solving skills.
Proficient in software development using Python, Multithreading,
Experience with Ansible and Terraform development.
Good understanding of Data Structures, Operating Systems, and Data Networking basics,
Preferred Qualifications (Good to have):
Experience in any Cisco OS - XR, XE or NXOS,
Experience in development using C Programming,
