What YOU Will Do:
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Interact daily with the customers to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
Cooperate and communicate effectively with program managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Experienced with drawing up blueprints and plans for products and equipment
Maintains records and files of all completed engineering work
Keeps apprised of the latest developments and innovations in the industry
Orders and replaces equipment parts
Answers employee or customer questions about project status
Ensures that all safety procedures are observed during project work
Ability to manage complex test systems projects

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Previous Project Engineering experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Previous experience with design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Software such as MS Word, MS Excel/Macro, MS PPT, etc.
Previous Enterprise Resource Planning software experience such as SAP/ORACLE
Previous knowledge / experience utilizing Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Agile, Kaizen, CORE
Previous experience demonstrating leadership and decision making skills
Previous research and communication experience translating technical jargon into simple, understandable terms

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
