The Role:

Heidrick & Struggles is looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst who is excited about the opportunity to shape the future of our organization. In this role, you\'ll have excellent exposure to senior leadership, and the chance to learn everything about running a premier professional services firm.

At our firm, we\'re in the trenches working closely with the business, navigating a rapidly changing and complex environment. Your responsibilities will span across finance and operational tasks, including resource management, business development, sales, and contracting. You\'ll provide critical support to the Director of Finance, specifically for the Heidrick Consulting line of business, handling financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all scheduled and ad-hoc financial reporting, analysis and variance explanations.
  • Responsible for the consolidation and review of financial information for all legal entities worldwide (using Excel / Hyperion Enterprise).
  • Assists in the preparation and review of presentations to the Management, Audit Committee, Board of Directors and outside investors.
  • Assists in the Annual Budget process and Monthly rolling forecast.
  • Develop productive relationships with remote and Global teams to bring value to the business.
  • Prepare analyses that will assist the Heidrick Consulting leadership in assessing performance and opportunities to improve financial results.
  • Develops one-off models or extensions to support \"what if\" analysis to support proposed business transactions, deal analysis, and other decisions.
  • Leverages data effectively to inform business leaders using storytelling.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience in data management and Business Intelligence systems (e.g., Excel, PowerBI).
  • Some prior experience working with corporate accounting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the methodology for preparing consolidated financial statements and supporting calculations (e.g., statement of cash flows, segment reporting).
  • Some familiarity with PeopleSoft general ledger and Hyperion Enterprise is desirable.
  • Proven ability to work with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams, collaborating to find optimal solutions.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master\'s in Business Administration (MBA).

Prior professional experience in the finance department of a large, multinational, publicly traded corporation, or consulting firm.

Some prior experience with companies undergoing integration and restructuring.
