Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college student to join our Healthcare Technology Management team as a Summer Intern. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of healthcare technology management, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment.
Aid on routine checks and preventive maintenance on healthcare technology devices.
Support the team in managing equipment inventory and tracking.
Participate in equipment evaluations and assessments.
Assist in the development and implementation of equipment management policies and procedures.
Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with healthcare technology.
Contribute to data collection and analysis for equipment performance and utilization.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or associate degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong interest in healthcare technology and medical devices.
Basic understanding of medical equipment and healthcare technology principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous internship or work experience in a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards.
Experience with medical equipment management software.
