Job Description Summary
The Transformation & Lean Leader will be responsible for driving GE Healthcare’s multi-year transformation agenda through an effective business system and transformation process. This Executive will lead the Transformation and Lean Office, influencing and prioritizing the global transformation agenda. They will orchestrate large-scale, complex initiatives to accelerate business growth, manage the annual enterprise priority planning process, and ensure alignment with the strategic budget. They will act as a strategic advisor to Leadership staff and oversee the execution of selected transformation initiatives to deliver organizational value and expected outcomes. The role also involves defining, strategizing, executing, and sustaining the company’s top priorities, or "Big Rocks," and managing tools and methods to drive change management. The Transformation & Lean Leader will promote a Lean mindset across the organization, as the capability owner, prioritize and maintain standards, and build Lean capabilities within leadership and the function itself.
Job Description
• Stakeholder Management/Communication: A dynamic leader who can influence key stakeholders, provide leadership direction, maintain open communication channels, and create feedback loops for improvement.
• Strategic Insight: This person has the strategic vision to help lead GE HealthCare through the transformative landscape, emphasizing the importance of leveraging Lean principles. The ideal candidate will have experience driving enterprise-wide transformation and lean maturity by advancing strategic initiatives, promoting a Lean mindset, and building leadership capabilities.
• Lean Background: Strong Lean background and familiarity with Hoshin Kanri methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing Lean principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Operational Transformation: This person knows how to transform a business, focus and create processes that are replicable and drive toward efficiency and results. He or she will need to understand key drivers of long-term financial growth and align transformation projects accordingly. For example, how to go to market with digital products today.
• Innovation Leadership: Utilizes comprehensive business intelligence to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and value creation. Develops and implements Lean methodologies and transformation processes across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. This leader has experience providing innovative solutions, focusing on critical success drivers, and facilitating teams to adopt Lean practices, continuously improve, and embrace change.
• Global Experience: Experience in executive leadership working globally with a strong understanding of how to evaluate and transform initiatives such as turnarounds and integrations
• Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen and an ability to tie business system performance to the organization’s profitability potential and expectations
• Inspire & Influence: This person is a global executive with gravitas, credibility, charisma, and vision. They lead through interpersonal influence- not authority. This person has a high degree of humility and displays leadership that inspires and energizes the organization. He or she leverages strong EQ characteristics and the different capabilities of each team member to create a motivated, effective, sustainable environment. Cultivate peer relationships to influence them to drive the adoption of the business system, tied to future financial performance and reach into segments to guide and coach.
• Culture Transformation: He or she creates meaning and purpose, engages, energizes the organization, and leads through influence while delivering against GE HealthCare’s cultural operating principles. They will drive a culture that maintains lean purity and practical adoption/adaptation of tools.

Qualifications:
• A strong mix of business leadership experience with a proven track record working in a leading healthcare or manufacturing organization.
• The ideal candidate will have held business leadership roles with P&L accountability, be strong operationally (including supply chain) and commercially, and successfully
proven Executive Leadership Team influence through cultivating relationships and successfully navigating difficult conversations vs leveraging authority.
• Experience practicing and leading Lean deployment and skills building across multiple disciplines.
• Possess the skills, energy, desire, and drive to take on the top transformation and lean leadership role at GE HealthCare.
