Responsibilities:

  • Plans and maintain internal KPIs in support of Quality, Plant divisional KPIs

  • Takes corrective actions with multidisciplinary groups, to make sure those actions are effective end permanent.

  • Plan resources to balance workloads for the personnel that coordinated by (him/her)

  • Certifies personal in critical operations (Test, inspection, and Calibration)

  • Plans, establishes, and executes savings projects for the quality department and the whole site working aligned with the Plant’s continuous improvement strategy.

  • Fulfill requirements outlined in policies, regulations, and safety procedures applicable to the manufacturing site.

  • Plans, executes, and follows up to NPD/NPI’s controls.

  • Plans, executes, and follows up to ECN’s controls.

  • Plans, executes, and follows up to DR’s controls.

  • Plans, executes, follows up, and communicates customer’s corrective actions.

  • Attend trainings required by the company.

Authority:

  • Report to Site Quality manager, work with him/her on developing the quality strategies aligned with the COPELAND Quality Corporate.

  • Oversees Quality Engineers for Comfort Controls, design strategies and supervise Site KPI

  • Main Communication with customer for Quality Issues

  • Oversees New Product Introduction.

  • Develop and validate corrective action when it is customer required.

  • Take desition to align Quality KPI with Site KPI.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) are a plus.

  • Proven experience in quality leadership, quality assurance in electronics industry, or a related field within a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC 610 ), and regulatory requirements (e.g. UL, NOM) and Problem solving using six sigma approach.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).

  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, quality management systems).

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Desired skills:

  • Master’s degree in quality or administration.

  • Intermediate Statistical Knowledge (ANOVA, DOE)

  • IPC 610 certified.

  • Experience in other departments in addition to Quality.

  • Six sigma Green Belt certification

  • Certified internal auditor ISO 9001
