Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$28.686 - $35.857 - $43.029

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.

What You Will Do

Provides direct daily support for central storeroom, carts/distribution, product transportation, inventory management and equipment management functions.

Required Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent

  • 3 Years experience in a large supply chain continuum operations setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with business software (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)

Essential Functions

  • Demonstrates good judgment and leadership Considers relevant facts, weighs alternatives, and makes decisions logically in order to perform the job assignment effectively.Regularly accepts responsibility for all areas of logistical issues such as equipment and supply charging, and reports all questionable matters to the management and respective departments.Seek better alternatives to solutions and propose these alternatives to management.Independently develop training tools and instruct staff on logistical matters to ensure staff growth, development and advancement.Proactively research and resolve issues that arise with customers.

  • General supportConsider accuracy, thoroughness, neatness, clarity, and adherence to a high level of work with a minimum need to checking and correcting. Understands and performs fundamental procedures of the job. Attain and maintain knowledge of logistical operations and display competence in all areas of responsibility. Completely understands and performs fundamental procedures and displays competence in all areas of distribution.Displays competency in areas including, but not limited to: distribution, equipment, transportation of supplies and medications (e.g. IV solutions), stocking regular carts and automated cabinets, delivery, patient charging/reconciliation procedures, repair work order submission, invoicing, inventory management, disaster preparedness carts, and stock rotation.Acts as the primary interface with all clinical units and/or multiple sites.Prioritizes the needs of daily requests to ensure proper attention is paid to the issues at hand.Submits complete and concise reports as assigned and on time.Prioritizes shift functions, assign tasks, and oversee the functions of staff.

  • Safety Observes safety practices and keeps the work environment clean and free of hazards. Always wears appropriate protective apparel and equipment when required.Demonstrates knowledge of all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) as evidenced by locating SDS and being able to instruct and direct co-workers in the interpretation and use of SDS.Thoroughly understands and adheres to the principles of TJC and OSHA requirements to promote optimal occupational and patient safety.Ensures compliance with all departmental safety rules to include strict adherence to universal precautions and required protective equipment for all employees.
