Career Opportunity -- Maintenance Technician *-- ES Properties in Cincinnati, OH *

*Do you have experience with onsite with preventative maintenance? General repair knowledge and residential maintenance experience? If yes, we want to speak to you about our position! *

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for effectively maintaining equipment, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operations of our properties; as well as the general maintenance and repairs of our 500 scattered sites.

Responsibilities:

• Proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure our properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained for our residents.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including inspecting, cleaning, and possibly repairing small appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, doors, locks, windows, and other duties as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and projects and to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents by addressing their concerns and maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to the Fair Housing Act.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with tenants and management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Availability for on-call emergency maintenance, as needed.
• Driver's License (Required).
• Cincinnati, OH 45219 (Required).
