Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Sales Assistant based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role primarily involves providing inside sales support and administration, maintaining relationships with sales staff, customers, and outside vendors, and handling order processing and walk-in counter sales.
Responsibilities:
• Provide customer service by maintaining relationships with sales staff, customers, and outside vendors.
• Assist sales staff with filter quotes, order processing, order status requests, and walk-in counter sales.
• Manage and organize simultaneous tasks, including rush or emergency orders.
• Utilize excellent communication skills to interface with multiple individuals and personalities.
• Exhibit proficiency with multiple software platforms, including Microsoft Office Suites.
• Develop and issue material purchase orders to vendors and identify customer-specific shipping requirements.
• Generate packing slips and file job documents in electronic project folders.
• Set up new customers and vendors and process counter sales.
• Support corporate collections resource and generate key monthly reports.
• Answer incoming phone calls and maintain office organization and cleanliness.
• Order office supplies and coordinate facility cleaning services.
• Plan and coordinate in-house events.
Requirements
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites
