EMSL Analytical, Inc., one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a Full Time Accounting Assistant at our corporate location in Cinnaminson, NJ. This candidate will assist the Accounting Specialist with the following duties.Responsibilities to include but not limited to:Access queue of Invoice Change Requests: review and process based on status and position of invoiceIssue credit memos as neededMove invoices through the lab system and into the accounting system (batch process and posting)Special billing for contract clientsSupport billing for Products DivisionSpecial credit card charging activityCredit card batch post processing; receipts upload to accounting systemRequirements:Minimum Associates Degree with Accounting Concentration requiredKnowledge of Macola or other Accounts Payable and Accounts Receiving accounting software is neededThree plus years' experience of relevant accounting processing experience is requiredStrong understanding of order entry/billing process, Accounts Receivable process and accounting cycleProficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookAbility to multi-task, prioritize work assignments and be deadline oriented for all projectsMust have great attention to detail and problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalAvailable Shift: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.For consideration all candidates must apply through our careers website: https://phf.tbe.taleo.net/phf02/ats/careers/v2/viewRequisition?org=EMSL&cws=40&rid=4509 EMSL offers full time benefits: medical, dental, 401 (k), voluntary benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, flexible spending account.
