Agri Partners Inc Agronomy and Corn Product Lead in CLEAR LAKE, South Dakota
Summary: AP Select is a local, family-operated seed business. We are regionally focused to include South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. This position requires exceptional leadership skills to effectively oversee the AP Select product portfolio and to manage new products, new product concepts, and product development. This position will lead the AP Select agronomists and promote and educate AP Select products to the sales team. The Agronomy and Corn Product Lead will report directly to the AP Select GM/Sales Lead. *Responsibilities:*
- Lead the AP Select agronomy services and team.
- Coordinate with corn genetic and production suppliers.
- Evaluate corn hybrids and soybean varieties to analyze ongoing product advancement.
- Provide product training for the AP Select sales team.
- Work closely with our corn/soybean production manager to help develop production plans.
- Coordinate AP Select plots, and compile planting and harvest data.
- Work with sales representatives on locations and plot sets for each territory.
- Manage service calls and evaluate product issues to maintain customer satisfaction to turn into sale opportunities.
- Communicate openly and effectively with the AP Select team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years experience in the agricultural sector: sales, agronomy, or corn/soybean product management.
