Installed Building Products Warehouse and Fabrication Associate in Cleveland, Ohio
AMD Distribution is seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse/Insulation Lamination associate to join our team. Key Responsibilities: * Efficiently perform tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager. * Meet Project Deadlines * Maintain a clean safe workspace. * Perform consistent quality control. * Load/Unload trucks as needed in the warehouse. * Safely drive a Fork truck when needed. Competencies * Understanding customer needs * Ability to make accurate judgments and decisions. * Time management * Technical experience * Basic math * Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * Minimum of one-year related experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment * Experience with machinery preferred. * Ability to accurately read a tape measure and other measuring devices. * Aptitude to comprehend instructions through oral, written, or diagram form. Physical demands: The physical demands of a warehouse worker include lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching frequently. The worker must be able to perform tasks that involve climbing ladders or stairs, as well as operating forklifts or pallet jacks. Strong manual dexterity is required for handling equipment and performing detailed tasks. Workers must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
