Kelly Services Machine Operator in Clifton Springs, New York
At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking Machine Operators to work for an actively growing Aerospace Manufacturer, in Clifton Springs, NY. With us, it’s all about finding the right opportunity for you!
Pay: $16-22/hr. (Depending on shift and experience). Temp to hire.
Available Shifts:
1st Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm/3:30pm
2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 1:00am (2:30pm – 11:00pm for training)
3rd Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am (Training on 1st or 2nd Shift)
Shift Differential: 2nd Shift – 15%, 3rd Shift – 20%
What does a typical day look like for this position? You'll be...
Operating Machines: Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machines used in manufacturing.
Reading Blueprints: Interpret and follow blueprints and production instructions to set up and operate machinery.
Monitoring Production: Ensure machines are running efficiently and adjust settings as needed to meet production goals.
Quality Control: Inspect and test parts, identifying quality issues and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
Use of Measuring Tools: Utilize tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure precision and accuracy.
Contributing to Lean Initiatives: Actively participate in continuous improvement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
