Job summary

•  Inspect parts, either new or "experienced", for defects, such as breakage, excessive wear, or discrepant manufacturing.  Verify dimensions of parts, using calipers, micrometers or appropriate measurement devices.
• Report any non-conforming parts, consult engineering or manufacturing for disposition and log the material onto the NCMR log.
•  Release parts into storage and retrieve parts from storage when required.
• Read and interpret applicable blueprints.
• Maintains equipment and facilities to keep in professional operating condition.

There is a preference for those with experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM), in addition to the traditional manual methods
