Job Summary:\ We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mason/Paving Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in working with concrete and masonry materials to assist in the construction and maintenance of various structures such as sidewalks, driveways, patios, and retaining walls. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Willing to train the right candidate for the position.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of construction sites by cleaning, leveling, and setting up necessary equipment.\ Mix, pour, and spread concrete using appropriate tools and techniques.\ Set forms and molds for pouring concrete according to project specifications.\ Operate equipment such as concrete saws, jackhammers, and power trowels safely and efficiently.\ Assist masons in laying bricks, blocks, or stone for various structures.\ Perform tasks such as grouting, caulking, and sealing to ensure the durability and integrity of concrete surfaces.\ Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to required standards.\ Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.\ Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance or repair needs.\ Maintain cleanliness of work areas before, during, and after construction activities.
