Principal Duties:
- Provides daily communication between customers and HTI.
- Must understand and react to customers needs proactivelyand accurately.
- Research target marketsas assigned for canned motor pump productsandidentify potentialcustomers in those markets.
- Responsible for monitoring and responding to, or routing to appropriate contact Web inquires received.
- Captures communications within the CRM system including but not limited to:
- Emails, word docs, spreadsheets, RFQs, contacts.
- Lead times, payment terms, terms and conditions, pricing.
- Schedule changes, technical issues.
- Expected close dates, activities, % confidence.
- Reviews customer requests, Technical Specifications, Terms and Conditions and works with stakeholders in collaboration to identify any exceptions or deviations required for Hayward Tyler to fulfill the contract.
- Utilizes latest costing sheet to provide accurate target margin and lead time.
- Works with engineering and quality to verify technical documents and order requirements.
- Prepares, records and maintains accurate and complete quotes (opportunities) within the ERP and CRM systems that follow the protocol of the company.
- Coordinates with customers and stakeholders on price negotiation, Terms and Conditions and long-term contracts.
- Responsible for quote follow up to customers as assigned to capture orders.
- Provides technical and commercial review of purchase orders for accuracy to quotation and generates corresponding, sales orders including customer shipping and or coordination of contract shipping, and invoicing requirements.
- Works closely with manufacturing partners to understand production schedules and the impact to lead time and on time delivery.
- Communicates delivery & technical issues to internal and or external customers periodically until the part arrives on the customers site and develops mitigation plans when ship dates are at risk.
- Maintains and improves quality results by following standards; recommends improved policies and procedures.
- Documents customer requests/complaints and provides internal feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participates in the strategic and tactical goals of the company.
- Participates in training and coaching as assigned.
- Other related duties as required.
