We are hiring immediately for a full time WAREHOUSE COUNTER SPECIALIST position.
Location: TAMU College Station - 600 Agronomy Road, College Station, TX 77843 Note: online applications accepted only.
Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. More details upon interview.
Requirement: Must possess a Valid Driver's License. Previous warehouse, customer service, and inventory/purchasing experience are required. 3+ years of wholesale/retail counter experience in trades is preferred.
Pay Range: $14.00 to $16.00

Job Summary
Summary: Receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate will provide excellent customer service by receiving material requisitions from SSC personnel and filling the orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Use in-house computer system, internet, paper catalogs and any other means necessary to identify and source materials as needed.
Work with Warehouse Manager to determine necessity of seeking supplier contracts when needed. Participate in the many other activities of the warehouse operation including purchasing, receiving, loading, unloading, storage and distribution of equipment, materials and supplies to the shops.
Report inventory discrepancies to Inventory Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager.
Must use proper PPE when applicable.
Commitment to continually improve the customer service process.
Operate SSC vehicles, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as needed. Serve on-call when required.
Must be willing to participate and function in a strong team environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
