Description

Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance Team in Colorado Springs!

This position will support the Senior Controller in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the accounting records and reporting in an efficient and timely manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Preparing General Ledger Journal Entries, Month-end and Year-end close, Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger Maintenance, Financial Statement Preparation, Budgeting and Analysis, Payroll processing, Operations Support, Intercompany Accounting etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Support and oversee accounting, billing, collections, payroll, payables activities, operations accounting.

  • Perform various GL month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Process Account Receivables invoices, respond to customer inquiries, monitor A/R aging report, research issues and support Account Management teams with past due invoices.

  • Post payments received and balance daily deposits.

  • Perform bank reconciliations ensuring ERP system bank records are consistently updated.

  • Process weekly Payroll and all related journal entries in accordance with all applicable regulations.

  • Record and reconcile inter-company activity.

  • Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports.

  • Analyze Purchase Price variance and track savings to standards in partnership with Supply Chain.

  • Assist controller with review of Inventory BOM’s and Routers.

  • Help with processing of Accounts Payable invoices, pay suppliers, assist with weekly cash flow forecast.

  • Reconcile and record monthly credit card transactions.

  • Prepare multiple account reconciliations and enter journal entries in ERP system as required.

  • Evaluate accounting processes and systems, along with identifying process improvement opportunities.

  • Maintain JSOX compliance documents for the department, per NMT’s requirements.

  • Prepare supporting documents for audits, maintain, and enhance internal controls.

  • Flexibility to meet required deadlines.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance

  • Minimum 7 years accounting experience.

  • Manufacturing Accounting Experience required (Medical Device preferred)

  • Practical knowledge of month-end and year-end closing procedures: preparing journal entries and analyzing effects of them on financial statements, reviewing manufacturing entries, and other transactions in general ledger

  • Experience with ADP Payroll processing (preferred)

  • Analytical skills to review general ledger accounts, explain variances, and present details contributing to the variances.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Positive and team player attitude, resilience under pressure.

  • High level of customer service within the company.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills

  • Experience with modern ERP systems - Oracle experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must maintain confidentiality

The established Compensation for this position will be $90,000 to $110,000 per year (paid on a bi-weekly basis) depending on qualifications and experience.
