Job Summary: Implement Enhanced Core Reading Instruction (ECRI) High Impact Tutoring Model by providing ECRI tutoring sessions to small groups of students during the school day. Work collaboratively with school site, District ECRI coach, and Boston University.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver ECRI tutoring sessions to small groups (4 or less) of students in K-2. These tutoring sessions occur during the school day. Prepare for ECRI tutoring session to include planning, practicing, assessing and reporting Engage in ongoing professional development to support high impact tutoring model Collaboratively work with district coach, school coach, classroom teachers, and Boston University to implement High Impact ECRI tutoring model Perform other duties as assigned. Education, Training and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Upload/Scan transcripts if applicable. Basic English and oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills and knowledge of office machines required. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Monitors and directs students as assigned. Acts as a resource for students, teachers, and administration. Criminal background check and District fingerprinting required. Note: Each college transcript shall be authentic, original or photocopy, bearing the embossed seal of the institution, the signature of the registrar, and including descriptive titles, course numbers, credits, and grades for each course listed and degrees earned, if any. For the purpose of these Rules, credits shall be in semester hours or may be interpreted as meaning the equivalent in quarter, trimester, unit or term.
