RBR-Technologies Sr. Network Engineer in Columbia, Maryland

RBR-Technologies is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support one of our customers in Columbia, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Configure and optimize network switches, routers and firewalls
Configure Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS)
Manage application layer filtering on NextGen Firewalls
Configure and troubleshoot virtual networking, VLANs, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRFs)
Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.
Diagnose network connectivity problems
Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software
Monitor network capacity and performance
Mitigate network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties
Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices
Configure and manage a VMware Cluster to support multiple tenant systems.
REQUIREMENTS
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Master's degree in STEM AND 10 years' experience, OR
Bachelor's degree in STEM AND 12 years' experience, OR
High school diploma and 15 years' experience as a Network Engineer
Experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS
Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.
Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA)
Active Cisco certification
