Aerotek Maintenance Manager in Columbus, Indiana

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Job Description:

Create and manage extensive maintenance programs to ensure all plant equipment and systems operate efficiently. Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they follow safety protocols and company guidelines. Perform regular equipment inspections to detect and resolve potential issues before they cause downtime. Work with production and engineering teams to plan maintenance activities without interrupting production. Handle the maintenance budget, including purchasing spare parts and supplies. Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks, equipment performance, and repair histories. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to boost efficiency and reduce costs. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services.

Essential Skills:

  • Maintenance management

  • Troubleshooting

  • Managerial/Supervisory experience in maintenance

  • Tracking KPIs related to equipment downtime

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems

Work Environment:

Automotive industry with a shift schedule of 6 am to 3 pm.

Job Type & Location:

Permanent position based in Columbus, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

At six months of active service, employees receive a $550.00 bonus.

Insurance begins at the start of the month following full-time date of hire (DOH).

HSA & PPO plans are offered.

Personal day earning based on quarterly perfect attendance.

401K with matching 50% (up to 6% max).

Company-paid life insurance.

Company-paid short-term disability.

Company-paid uniforms.
