JOB SUMMARY: Premier ProduceOne, a leader in food service distribution, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Forklift associate to join our Warehouse team in Columbus. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tow Motors, RF Scanners, and inventory management to succeed in loading and unloading trucks. We provide our customers with superior produce, unique specialty items & unmatched service. An eye for detail and a genuine desire to exceed our customers' needs is important. This full-time position is for 1st shift and is for 4 ten-hour shifts. The schedule could include Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday. Some overtime can be expected. The shift start time is 5:00 am. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Follow facility-specific guidelines. Other duties may be assigned. Operational Responsibilities • Remove orders from incoming delivery trucks, review purchase orders for accuracy, document dates on PO and integrate stock in accordance with company rotation and sanitation procedures. • Review received items for quality and product expiration dates. • Assist with customer walk-ins, retrieves orders and loads purchases for customers in a professional manner. • Prepares for new stock deliveries, cleans, and organizes area in compliance with company procedures. • Use safe lifting, pushing, and pulling skills. Always wear non-slip protected toe shoes in the warehouse. • Use RF scanners properly. • Use, clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with company sanitation and safety regulations. Qualifications and Skills • Must be 18 years of age • Operate with an eye for detail • Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse • Experience operating Tow Motors/Forklifts required • Knowledge of RF Scanners a plus • Must be able to repetitively lift and carry 75-pound package • Translation assistance is not offered. Proficiency in English to follow verbal and written instructions and safety policies.
