McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational solutions, is looking for a Sr. Product Manager, Assessment who will focus on delivering a cross discipline, cross segment product strategy, with an emphasis on Assessment. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for supporting the development of an overall vision and strategy that is tightly aligned to emerging customer & market needs, new growth opportunities, and our overall business strategy, and leading its execution. The Sr. PdM must have deep customer empathy and that rare ability to champion the voice of the customer and advocate for the interests of the business at the same time. The Sr. PdM will be accountable for helping to develop and then execute a cross-discipline, cross-segment Assessment strategy for School. This includes understanding the current state across core, intervention and supplemental programs and markets, and then defining short and long-term plans. This position can work remotely within the continental United States but can also be based in one of our McGraw Hill offices. How will you make an impact? Make assessment a compelling differentiator in our core programs, but also to define new market opportunities in the assessment and analytics space. Drive assessment and instrumentation needs across core, intervention, and supplemental programs in close collaboration with portfolio leads and Data Science teams. Use assessment to Inspire efficacious action for students, classrooms, and schools. Execute the strategy for a comprehensive learner profile, which includes longitudinal data collection across products, expands beyond academic data to include other data that affect learning, and provides meaningful insights at the classroom level. As product strategy is developed, you will be responsible for realization of this strategy through cross-functional leadership across UX, Academic Design, Learning Science, and development/agile teams. The Sr. PdM understands the market and competitive landscape and is able to drive a strategy that delivers measurable business results including, but not limited to: revenue growth, usage growth, customer acquisition and retention. The role requires strong knowledge of assessment and proven experience in this field. You will operate in an environment that requires excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional team collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills. You must be energized by collaboration with cross-functional teams, including content experts, project managers, business managers, software engineers, product marketing managers, and external vendors and partners.
