As anEngineering Manager on our Product Tech Organization, you'll make significant contributions to the success of one of our newest initiatives. Your primary responsibility is to becomestrong with managerial skills and significant technical knowledge to lead your team and work closely with other business partners to introduce a specialty workflow. You'll get the chance to create and maintain strong working relationships with our many clients while advising on the development of one of our top strategic products. You'll work closely with fellow leaders within the business unitto navigate the ambiguity and risk that comes with creating new things and you'll enjoy endless opportunities to take on responsibility, mentor, and continue learning. What You'll Do: Lead a self-organizing team, clarifying responsibilities based on team priorities and flexing your leadership style to adapt to a variety of skill sets Build strong relationships with your team members, understanding their motivations, encouraging continuous learning, and creating development plans to help them succeed Facilitate necessary cross-unit communication, getting the right people together at the right times to make decisions that keep your team productive Make sure to always be a great teammate to your peers across the company, balancing the needs of your unit with those of other teams Work with recruiting team to engage candidates and play an active role in the interviewing process and hiring decisions Handle performance conversations and reviews for your team, and manage salary and other expenses Work with training team to ensure successful onboarding and training of new hires Enable and nurture collaborative, adaptive working relationships with enterprise Pharma client teams who are not versed in modern software development processes About You: 5+ years of experience being a contributing leader/manageron technical teams 3+ years of experience working in agile processes A natural collaborator who seeks out new perspectives and builds trusting relationships with both technical and non-technical partners at all levels, and moves people to action Proven experience identifying and prioritizing the most important things amongst a myriad of important things; including what will be delayed or discarded to focus on what's important now Thrive in the inherentenergy, ambiguity, and risk that comes with creating new things Embrace the opportunity to work closely with the other business units to introduce a specialty workflow that integrates seamlessly with the CoverMyMeds core offering Compensation & Benefits Actual base pay will be based on experience and qualifications We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets.
